You want to apply for your Virginia Concealed Carry Permit. You found your class. You’ll learn:
- Firearm Safety
- Basic Handgun Components (how does the gun work?)
- Basic marksmanship & Defensive shooting fundamentals
- Safe gun storage
- The real life truths & laws governing firearm ownership and Carrying Concealed.
- Home Defense & Security
This course combines 3.5 hours of classroom and range time to teach, reinforce, and test basic handgun knowledge & safety. While experience is not required to attend this course, if you are brand new to firearms (never handled a gun/shot before) we do recommend you join us for a Handgun Intro course (or Pistol 01 course if you already have your own firearm) for some 1 on 1, in-depth, hands-on instruction on handling, safety and marksmanship to help demystify the process and build confidence handling the tool prior to attending your CCP Course. Again, this is not a requirement/prerequisite for the CCW Course.
Upon successful course completion, students will receive a certification to submit with their application for their Virginia CCW Permit.
Price/Student: 90 (50 rounds of Ammunition for shooting qual. Not Included)
Personal Firearm Recommended, not mandatory.
